Being the old royal capital, Luang Prabang has a rich history of jewelry making. The people have always fashioned their wealth taken directly from the Mekong and the surrounding mountains. Through time the traditional designs have evolved but today the craft is threatened. There are no schools for this handcraft that has been passed down through generations.

Bringing tools from Germany to my craftsmen in Luang Prabang, I have introduced new ideas and advanced techniques. Together with my master jeweler Noy and my employee Khankeo I am able to recreate forgotten as well as new designs. With mutual trust and respect we are producing quality jewelry using local resources. Our inspiration continues to grow as we develop our ideas. I have already seen great progress in their living standards as our business flourishes.
